The Co-Host Method (www.thecohostmethod.com) is dedicated to ensuring digital accessibility for all visitors and clients. We are actively working to improve the user experience for everyone, ensuring our website, our intake processes, and our digital reports are navigable and readable regardless of ability.

We strive to adhere as closely as possible to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We recognise that full compliance is an ongoing effort, particularly as we transition from a purely web-based experience to delivering complex data products.

Current Status and Ongoing Efforts

1. Platform and Navigation

​

Our website is built on the Wix platform, which provides a strong foundation for accessibility, including logical DOM order for screen readers and keyboard-friendly navigation for core interactive elements.

2. Images (Alt Text)

​

Our team is actively engaged in reviewing and adding descriptive alt text to all meaningful images. This ensures that visual content, including graphics describing our analytical services, is accessible to those using screen readers.

3. Intake Forms (Third-Party)

​

To gather data for our audits, we provide clients with links to digital intake forms (hosted via Google Forms).

​

  • Accessibility: Google Forms are designed with accessibility in mind, supporting screen readers and keyboard-only navigation.

  • Support: If you find the Google Form interface difficult to navigate, we are happy to complete the intake interview with you via telephone. Please contact us at the details below to arrange this.

4. Digital Reports (PDF Documents)

Our primary product is a comprehensive 29-page Market Analysis report provided in PDF format. We are committed to ensuring these documents remain accessible by:

  • Structural Tagging: Using clear heading hierarchies to allow screen reader users to jump between sections.

  • Legibility: Maintaining high color contrast and using sans-serif fonts to aid readability.

  • Alternative Formats: If you require your report data in an alternative format (such as a tagged Excel file or plain text), please let us know at the time of purchase.

5. Screen Reader Compatibility

​

Our site and documentation are tested for compatibility with major screen reader software (JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver). We continue to monitor custom content to ensure it does not impede navigation.

Formal Audit and Testing

​

While we utilise built-in accessibility tools and conduct internal checks, we have not yet performed a full, third-party accessibility audit. This is planned for the near future as our data services evolve.
